Export your LinkedIn Company Page into a Company Brain

A LinkedIn Page admin can download the organization as the network sees it: the employee list with departments, the followers, the posts and the analytics. In a Company Brain that becomes the org chart and the company’s public voice.

What a LinkedIn Company Page export holds — and what the brain makes of it

There is no single zip; Page admins export per-report CSVs from Analytics and Settings. The brain builder reads the organization profile (with its headquarters geocoded), the employee list with departments, followers, page posts and follower and visitor analytics. Employees become people notes with a department; posts become the company’s content layer; analytics become the company’s algorithmic mirror — how LinkedIn sees the organization.

Employees are the key. The same names in a Slack export or a Google Workspace directory merge into one note per person, matched by name, so "who works in engineering" and "who talks to whom on Slack" are answered from one record.

How to export your LinkedIn Company Page data

The exact clicks, as they are today. Platforms move menus; the engine’s source docs are updated when they do.

  1. 01

Page admin → Analytics / Settings

  2. 02

Export the employee list, followers, posts and analytics reports (per-report CSVs — no single ZIP)

  3. 03

Drop the archive on LinkedIn Company Page in Studio’s Sources — or tell Claude Code or Codex “build my brain from this”. The source is detected by itself, even inside a combined archive.

Then, next month

An export is a snapshot. Drop a newer one and press Update: your edits and _notes/ are kept, and the update report says what changed.

How Update works

Then ask it

What you can ask a brain built from LinkedIn Company Page

Examples, not promises: the answer is whatever your notes hold, and every answer cites the notes it came from. The more exports you add, the more these questions cross sources.

  • Who works in each department, and which of them are also active on Slack?
  • Which of our posts drew followers from companies in our pipeline?
  • How has the follower base shifted by industry since last year?

limitReports are exported one at a time and only by a Page admin; employee data covers people who listed the company on LinkedIn, not the HR roster.

Good to know

The honest answers.

Is this the same as the personal LinkedIn export? No. The personal export is a member’s own archive; this is the Page admin’s set of CSV reports about the organization. A Company Brain can hold both kinds of brain side by side.

Are employees’ contact details imported? No. Employee emails and phone numbers are dropped in code; the brain keeps names, departments and the relationship.
