Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the secondbrainlink.com website and the open-source Second Brain Link software. By using either, you agree to them.
Last updated: June 20, 2026
The software is open source
Second Brain Link is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute it under that license — the license text in the repository governs the software itself and prevails over these terms where they overlap.
No warranty
The website and software are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any claim, damages, or loss (including to your data) arising from use of the website or software. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any data you process.
Acceptable use
- Only process data exports you are entitled to use.
- Don't use the site to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
- The Second Brain Studio web app may let you connect your own third-party AI provider API keys; you are responsible for your keys and your use of those providers.
Third-party services
Second Brain Link is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn, Meta, Google, Slack, Obsidian, Anthropic, OpenAI, or the GBrain project. It works with the data exports those services provide to you. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Changes
We may update these terms as the project evolves; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
